Gitta Pardoel is a Dutch-born artist, illustrator, and educator living in Spain. Trained in architecture and landscape design, she learned to notice how places hold stories—in their forms, their details, and the memories they awaken.

Today, nature is at the heart of her work. Through drawing, painting, and layered materials, she follows the shapes of plants and the rhythms of landscapes, moving between close observation and abstraction. Each image becomes a small story: a meeting between what is seen, what is remembered, and what the imagination discovers.

Gitta has exhibited internationally, her work is held in public and private collections, and she has written and illustrated children’s books. She has taught art and design at several academies for nearly a decade.
